The first thing to do is find out if they support POP Authentication
(also known as Check before Send). You can either ask them, or just try
it.

To try it, check your email account manually, then immediatly after the
check is finished, send an email using the account. If they email sends,
then they support POP Auth. If they support POP Authentication, then all
you have to do is check your email before you want to send an email. You
can either do this manually, or via applescripts, or download patch2.sit
from my FTP site (that will hack Emailer and cause it to reverse its
normal send/check order and turn it into a check/send order).

If they don't support POP Authentication (more and more ISPs are not
supporting it), then you need SMTP Authentication. That's something
Emailer doesn't support. In order to gain that support you will need to
use something like Baton Mail to add it to your email sessions. You can
get Baton Mail from my web site.
