Thank you Martin for spelling out how you have successfully been using
VRic's scripts.

Oddly enough, for the first time since installing and using VRic's script
"Trash Attachments", I got an alert upon downloading my mail this morning:

It said something like: Attachments Trashed: 0 Messages processed: 1

There were actually two spams in the Deleted folder (which is what the
Mail Action is supposed to do with anything labelled **SPAM** by my ISP)
and the attachment to one of these was still in my Attachments folder! So
the script ran but didn't do its job for some reason.

> In
>define actions window have selected Run Applescript, and selected Trash
>messages and attachments in the lower selection bar on the RH side of the
>window. Have selected nothing else, except Save. Has been working
>flawlessly via mail action filtering, or manually since then. The new 1.5
>versions of the scripts are a bit improved, including it's dialog window.

I wonder if the difference is that I am using the Trash Attachments
script - I want the **SPAM** to go into my Emailer Deleted file as per
defined Mail Action but the attachment to go directly into the Trash.
(From where I will retrieve it if necessary.) I hadn't realized this is
exactly what the other script did.

I am going to change the Mail Action to use "Trash Message and
Attachments" and see if that works!

> When I had it on bottom of the list, it missed quite a few.

Why is that? - so far I have only 4 folders in my Mail Actions list in
the following order: Emailer, Claris, Unknown and Spam. All of these are
pretty simply set to file accordingly. The Spam is left to the end
because when it was listed before Unknown, I would get double filings of
all the Spam which of course fell into both categories.

I'll let you know if the new script works!
