Thanks. There are export-import scripts out there, but I don't like them (limited, unaware of localizations, ignore attachments, etc.) So I improved and released my own Eudora mailbox export script. http://vric.free.fr/mac/Emailer/ >Now if you had a way to IMPORT emailer mail back in, so I could fix my >darn database, that would be killer! ;-) It's the occasion to feed 2 rabbits with the same carrot: I bundled R. Shapiro's "Import - unix/Eudora" script to import back into Emailer. Notice that there's apparently no way to re-link attachments to a forged incoming message, so the imported messages won't be totally identical to the originals, but at least thanks to my export script they will mention existing attachments as a list of paths (unless the files were unavailable, which will be reported instead). Imported *outgoing* messages could be re-linked to their attachments though, so there's room for improvement. Reminder: - AppleScript 1.7 from OS 9.2.2 is bad and extremely slow (I use 1.6 under OS 9.x and 1.8.3 under Classic) - Scripts run faster when triggered from OSA Menu than from Emailer's scripts menu - The last official version of OSA Menu is buggy, use the unreleased 1.2.3d7 instead - Scripts seem to run better under OS X/Classic than under OS 9 when processing large data sets I'll post a page about all that when I can. ---- VRic ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
