I'm hoping VRic or somebody else with scripting experience can help me
with this. (I've requested a book on AppleScript for Christmas, but no
telling how long it will take me to begin to understand it!)

I'm subscribed to SpamCom and have been using the "Spamcop Emailer
Script" for some time to report spam. Recently I discovered that I can
also send a copy of spam to "bellSouth.net" addressed to "thisisspam" to
report it and hope they'll start filtering it. To add this BellSouth
notification to the Spamcop Emailer Script manually I must click in the
"To" box, Tab, type in "Spam " to call up the proper address from my
Address Book, tab to the Address field, paste (Command+V) and click on
the "Clock" and "Queue Message" buttons -- all this for the first spam
report. For all others the actions are: Click, Tab, (Command+V), tab, and
click on the "Clock" and "Queue Message" buttons.

It would be =so= much easier if I could just add the necessary commands
to the "Spamcop" script to have =it= enter the needed BellSouth address
line... but I've looked at the script to see if there's something I can
copy and modify and it might as well be written in Greek!

Any help would be appreciated.

While I'm asking for help, has anybody been able to get the PostArmor
mail proxy TidBITS liked so much to run under OS 9.2.2? I downloaded it
(and the Swing 1.1.1 thing needed for Java) but can't get it to work --
that is, I can't get PostArmor to start so I can configure it. When I
doubleclick on the "Armor" icon it =seems= to start, but all that appears
on the Menu bar is the Apple and Help. The first two items on the Apple
menu are "About..." (which doesn't do anything) and Quit (which does);
Help doesn't work either. If I doubleclick on the .jar file (which the
instructions say will start the application) I get a dialog saying that
the file can't be opened because the application that created it can't be
found. Pfui...

PostArmor can be downloaded from www.postarmor.com; Swing 1.1.1 can be
downloaded from the Sun Web site.
