Amen, Jim. I am appalled that people are so full of themselves that they think anyone on an _emailer list_, for heaven's sake, wants to hear their political pontifications. It says more about _them_ than their views. Is their world so narrowly circumscribed that the only place they have to vent is a captive audience that is trying to help each other out with an obsolete mail program? I suggest some apologies are due... and not the self-justifying, pharisaical ones that say "I'm sorry but I feel strongly that (repeat your political views here)". I am not ready to unsubscribe but I think we should sanction these philistines with our disapprobation at least. It's too bad there is not a list manager to do it for us... I suppose that is part of the reason they feel free to bring it here.
