Well I just ran into another situation that caused me to yearn even more for my Emailer. I am using my granddaughters G4 and Mail and she does not want me to load Emailer on her machine. So I'm faced with Mail until I get my own computer when my ship comes in. I could not get any mail the other day and when I called the Server they told me I was over the 10meg limit with 1500+ emails on the Server. They told me to go to a web page and Delete what I wanted. Well each email had a box in which you would check and then click on Purge Deletes but it never worked when I tried a few. Imagine having to check boxes for 1500 emails. So their service man did it for me and it took a long time. What I am wondering now is how to program Mail so that there is not another build up like this. In the Account preferences under Advanced there is a screen which asks Remove copy from Server after retrieving a message, with a box to check. If you check this it then has another box asking if you want this to happen in One Week, Two Weeks or a Month etc. I had it checked for one month which is how I had my Emailer but apparently this is wrong and they told me to uncheck it. So what is the correct setting so that I won't have such a build up again and yet not lose all my emails in archive in case something happens and I need to retrieve old messages? Sigh~ is there and Emailer Anonymous? ~~~~ Doug McAdam Kokomo, IN
