This file is created by the OS X Finder to store folder info (icon, views, junk like that). Emailer doesn't know what to do with it, so it gets confused and jams up on unpacking messages on the first pass. To fix it, Open the Temp Incoming folder (in your Emailer Files folder, in your main Claris Emailer folder). See if it is empty (it should be). If it is not, quit and relauch Emailer until the folder is empty (it should probably only take one try). Then drag the Temp Incoming folder to the trash. Close ALL open windows. Relauch Emailer, the problem should be fixed (Emailer will create a brand new empty Temp Incoming folder without a .DS_Store file in it). To avoid this in the future, don't mess with the Temp Incoming folder. Although it may still happen from time to time for no reason. >2) Claris emailer/AOL connection is aborted when >trying to send or receive messages containing file >attachments (regardless of file size). Currently a known problem with AOL. No known solution (at least not that I am aware of, but I do admit, I have been a little lax on keeping up with the AOL problems since I no longer use Emailer for AOL). You can try calling and telling AOL about the problem, but they will likely have no idea what you are talking about, and may very well accuse you of being crazy because they are convinced that there are no programs like Emailer in existance. They will probably try to walk you thru IMAP settings problems, and then say that the error must be with the email client, and fail to even understand the basic problem at hand. Alas, if you need your AOL support with a 3rd party email client, then this error may force you to move to a newer mail client that supports IMAP so you can once again receive attachments. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
