Sorry, I am using Panther - there are a lot of changes to Mail from Jaguar version. I do not remember where the setting is in Jaguar. In could be that the feature did not exist until Panther. My consistent advise to OS X users is to be using Panther. Disclaimer: I DO own Apple stock! Normally you must use the SMTP server of your access provider. Judging from your email address this would be Bellsouth. Do check the SMTP entry for the account in question. What is the Account Type you are working with: .Mac, POP, imap? My accounts are all setup as POP accounts. Port 25 is the SMTP port used to sending mail Port 110 is for receiving POP3 email Port 143 is for receiving IMAP mail Lew Nelson ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
