I am receiving e-mails from an account in South Africa. Evidently
however, my replies are not being received from my E-mailer account. (And
I do not get any rejected e-mail warnings). If I go to my service
providers' e-mail program on the Internet however, my e-mails to this
individual are received. I am not sure what's going on but I suspect it
may have something to do with the possibility that my e-mail address may
not match my account address or something like that....as I had this
problem many moons ago with an individual (associated also with a
university but in the US). I have been with my service provider since
1996, and since then, they have changed their ownership a couple of times
- my e-mail extensions (which all work) have changed from @mo.net to
@marz.net to @socket.net.....I think it has something to do with a
possible existing discrepancy in the address Claris Emailer uses
(probably @mo.net) and what is being broadcast by my service provider
(probably @socket.net); I suspect this discrepency causes the server at
the South Africa end to reject my e-mail as spam.......Does this make
sense? It's a guess based on a hazy previous experience.

Can anyone offer an explanation and a quick fix that does not jeopardize
my current E-Mailer settings and otherwise, fine tuned e-mail program?

Mary Lou
