Have you tried connecting with that password and seeing if it is correct?

The length of the dots does not always mean that is the length of the 
password. Normally Emailer will display the same number of dots as it has 
for characters in the password... however, when you use the Internet 
Config settings, it DOES NOT do that. Instead it puts in a very long 
string of dots that has no bearing on the length of the real password.

If you are not successfully able to check your email, and you believe the 
password to be wrong... then it is wrong in Internet Config, not in 
Emailer. Ignore the number of dots.
