Excuse the interruption for an off-topic query: I am running a Power Mac 8500 upgraded to a NewerTech G4/450 with Mac OS 9.1.
I am looking for a recent copy of Virtual PC to run on Mac OS 9.1. I own a copy of Virtual PC 2.1 with Windows 95, but it's too old to do what I need. I own original disks of Windows 95 and a Windows 98 upgrade disk. The Windows 98 upgrade disk will install only on top of an existing Windows 95 installation. The VPC 2.1 virtual disk for Win95 is a maximum of 512 Mbs. That is too small to install the Win98 on top of the existing Win 95 installation. VPC 2.1 permits the creation of a new C or D drive, as large as 2 Mbs, but the Win 95 installer disk does not want to install on that disk. If anyone has a newer copy of VPC that they would like to sell or transfer, please email me offline.
