Try ReBuilding (when opening a "closed" Emailer, hold down Command-Option during the open, select Rebuild from the dialogue box)> Wow, I've never heard of "ReBuilding" Emailer before! Okay, I don't have the problem the original poster, Don, has with regards to memory, but I do have tens of thousands of emails. Thing is, I don't keep them in the Inbox, I keep them in folders named for particular correspondents.
