This is strange for I'm using my granddaughters G4 with 10.9.3 and an old blue and white monitor that had been repaired over a year ago. Since I upgraded though I have been experiencing weird monitor effects. Instead of the usual blue and white screen, it turns to a yellowish tint and no matter what I do it will not change, and then in a few days it turns back again but only for a day or so. I'm not using Classic very much but it does not change when I do. Course she also does not have CE so I don't know how that would be and I really miss it.

Here's an update on my problem using eM and Fast User Switching...using a

Apparently eMailer and/or Classic don't appreciate changing screen
resolutions between users. In my case, all but one of the various users
are set to the highest possible screen resolution of 1440x900 pixels (on
a 17 inch iMac). The "user" eMailer/Classic was set to one of the lower
screen resolutions in order to make text more legible. When returning to
eMailer from another user, the eMailer windows would not fill - leaving
just white boxes - and Classic would freeze, requiring a forced-quit.

The problem probably lies with Classic (under Tiger) since similar
problems occur with other programs running under Classic.
