I use an Applescript, named "Delete messages and attachment, that  I got 
from the old Emailer web site. It allows you to select any number of 
incoming messages with (or without) attachments by simply highlighting 
them in the incoming mail list and then selecting the Applescript from 
the script menu.

But. I don't know if it will work under OS 10.x. I'm running OS 9.1 on a 
G3 minitower.
