Mark, I frequently (more than once a month) send out an email to between 200 and 300 people (it is often over 250). Emailer splits them as you have mentioned. I do not send attachments to large number as you do.
I am wondering why you don't place the attachment on the web someplace and just send the download link. We do that with a 2Mb newsletter every month.
