I have used laptops for their space saving and comfort features in the 
past - I rarely ever take them anywhere!

But last month I travelled with it to my brother's in Utah.  Emailer 
couldn't connect to his server for authentication reasons. I wished I had 
the hacked version at the time.

How would one use it if one only needed it occasionally - when 
travelling?  Keep the .sit on file and open it when necessary?  Use it 
all the time regardless of whether authentication is required?
