Thanks all for your helpful responses! Jay had subsequently (after my earlier posting) sent me an applescript titled "Show HTML in Netscape#1. So after opening an html-filled message (I get the daily Salon Newsletter which is in html) I pull down that script. I'm then presented with a series of finder windows till I navigate to and open Netscape. It then shows the message in Netscape with its graphics and underlined colored links, which is a real treat after weeks of trying to decipher the html messages in Emailer.
I'm most grateful to you all! Ellen Joseph Getchel <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote >Ellen, >Version 1.3 of this script is the latest version I knew of. And by the way, the >Applescript titled "Show HTML - Emailerv1.3" IS on Chris' Emailer site >within the "Applescript" folder. > >How to use? Select and open the email that contains HTML formatting (not >a mail with an HTML attachment). Pull down on the Script menu and select >the "Show HTML" script. The script should process the HTML code, and >send a file to your default Internet Browser, where the email content >will be displayed in all its HTML glory (yech!). ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
