Typical things to try for troubleshooting:

0)  Restart the Mac.  Don't do the following steps after Claris Emailer has
crashed until you restart.

1)  Look inside your Temp Incoming folder and see if there is a bad file in
there.  Drag the Temp Incoming folder to the desktop.  Emailer will make a
new Temp Incoming folder.  Then see if Claris Emailer works.  You can view
any file in the old Temp Incoming folder with a text edit such as BBEdit or
MS Word.

2)  Use webmail to read and remove all mail from your account.  Perhaps
there is a bad file or attachment in the account, that Claris Emailer can't
download.

3)  Allocate more memory to Emailer.  Finder -> Get Info -> Memory ->
increase the amount of memory available to Claris Emailer.

4)  Rebuild the mail database.  Backup the two files in the Claris Emailer
Folder -> Claris Emailer Files -> Mail ->
    -> Mail Database
    -> Mail Index 

Then start Claris Emailer while holding down the Option key.  When it asks
if you want to rebuild the database, choose "Yes" for simple rebuild.

5)  Have you recently added any new Inits or Extensions to your system?  If
so, remove it and see if your Emailer stabilizes.  If you are using Conflict
Catcher, choose Mac OS 9.1 All or Mac OS 9.1 Base.  If you are using
Extensions Manager, choose the base system.
