Well... I've got Basilisk II running on my Intel iMac, and I've got
Emailer running inside that. However, I have not yet gotten the ethernet
networking for Basilisk to work, so as of yet, Emailer can run, but can't
check email.

Everything I can find says ethernet should work. The problem is there are
no clear directions on how to get it to work. So I'm still playing with
that part.

One downside I have already found, Basilisk is a 68k emulator. That means
my hacked versions of Emailer can't be used as those are PPC only.
However, I am about to try SheepShaver (basically a PPC emulator version
of Basilisk). I stopped messing with it last night after House II ended
on AMC because I realized the reason SheepShaver probably wasn't seeing
my drive image was because it was 9.2.2 and SheepShaver says it only
supports up to 9.0.4.

I wasn't going to head back to my office to grab my 9.0 installer CD at
2am (Not to mention the new sleep clinic at my office doesn't like to see
me walk thru the lobby in bare feet as I often do when I make late night
runs... and I broke a toe Thursday night and didn't feel like sliding my
sneakers back on again.)

So I'll grab my 9.0 installer CD this afternoon while I am out and about,
and give SheepShaver a try. It also is supposed to support ethernet, so
maybe it will cooperate. I hope it does, as I'd rather get SheepShaver
working so that I can also use the hacked versions of Emailer (otherwise
I have to go back and figure out how to get the hacks into the 68k
version of Emailer).

Just thought I'd pass along my progress update for those that care.
