Ok, then I have to side with the other posted opinion... chances are the 
form's email validation script doesn't allow for two character email 
addresses. You can test it by using some other address with only two 
characters (ie: make one up for yahoo or anyone you want, and do 
something like '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' and see if it rejects it).

If it is rejecting due to only two characters in the username, I'd bet it 
is a windows based validation script. For some reason Windows server 
webadmin's don't seem to have a clue about valid email addresses (they 
also tend to block things like dashes and underscores, both of which are 
legal characters). I guess maybe it just goes with the whole Windows 
mentality of "I don't know any better, so it must be correct". :-)
