Wouldn't it be nice to have a list of what different versions of OS X
support?
I think I have just learned that my OS X.4.1.1 supports OS9 :) and
OSX4.7
does not! Are there really ways round all these limitations in any given
version? And if there are is it worth all the bugs that seem to come
with them?

I ask because I get these messages about updates and I am never told if
they suit the version I have. I got one yesterday :
http://www.apple.com/legal/sla/...Mac OS X update/P:ower PC 10.4.7 ..39.8
MB !

That looks as if I should download it to 10.4.1.1 yet there is no warning
to
say that??? There were a lot of other updates with things I don't
generally use which I feel don't concern me. How serious should I take
these updates.

>>Just curious, Mark, but how are you managing to run Emailer under 10.4.7
