Neither side is doing any corruption investigating. Sure, there will be hearings, mostly by Waxman intended to score political points, but there will be nothing significant. If waxman digs too deep, he will uncover too much dirty laundry on both sides, so he will contain himself to easy issues-oriented investicating. I would be thrilled if the pork efforts were continued, which was sponsored by Pence and Obama. But chances are, while the demos screamed about corruption in 06, they will feed of the trough in 07, and the pubs will be happy sharing the trough with them.
