Nothing to do with emailer but I've been struggling with getting audiobooks off CD and onto my iPod for weeks. I finally figured out the best method. (Well, there may be a better method but I haven't found it!)
In case it's of help, I took screen shots and wrote a "tutorial" on how to load audiobook tracks off CD into iTunes 7, convert them to m4b (bookmarkable) and combine them into a single track with "chapter" markers that your iPod will jump to when prodded. See http://www.podcaststingers.com The resultant file can be dragged to your Hard Disc and dragged into iTunes on a different computer, where it will instantly appear in the "Audiobooks" library and nowhere else.
