The early G4 towers can't address more than 120GB in a Hard Drive so this expansion card solves the problem. (I hope it's cheaper in the USA). Anyone messing with Hard Drives should note that the ribbon cables are very fragile and easily damaged if you pull on them. I keep a spare ribbon handy now.
