I use my old Pismo G3 - 500 mhz - for emailing - but I have never 
problems until recently - and it may indeed be connected with Flip4mac.  
Maybe I will try playing the same files using Wmv Player instead (will 
have to reinstall) - which is working fine playing everything on my G5 
when I transfer files to it.

Well, of course I know that! [When forwarding, nothing extraneous ever 
gets sent either. No one else's address, no attachment besides the 
specific file.]

In this case, I just wanted to open the other attachment, which I was 
hoping contained the answer to the riddle.  I guess it was, as you say, 
some web graphic.

I don't like html so am not inclined to do this - don't really like any 
of the new bells and whistles - but it is because everyone else is using 
them that I can't open attachments anymore it seems.
