I was asking if you could restrict spotlight to searching only on file names or folder names and stop it from searching on the content of folders and the documents. As far as your recommendation, I have done this and multiple times. I have also dragged the order of the 2 things I want searched (Folders and documents only)....regardless, it still searches pdf, pics, presentations,etc. and it refuses to follow my order of Folders followed by documents....I also tried adding my hard drive to the privacy list and then removing it again to force a re-index.....nothing works...it just searches everything in the order of its liking and all my content and file names.
