Hello dear list, I had to interrupt Claris Emailer because it was stuck in scripts. Even the interrupt took long, so I powered down the machine.
Now after a restart of the machine, my Mac disk OS 10.4, does not boot anymore, but the disk is readable; I attached it via FireWire to another Mac, and as you see, I am running CE from it. The wheel keeps spinning at the beginning on the screen. I have 2 identical Macs. Which part of the (system ?) folder is used first ? What is the best way to transfer the least amount possible of bootfiles from 1 Mac to another, or to rewrite the bootcode. I dont have any special tools at hand for Mac OS X.. I used to have all of them for OS 9.
