Just in case this tidbit might be of use to someone - - I posted that I was having trouble getting email out on my Verizon account (it's not the one that I mainly use).
Chris said that he heard that Verizon did not recognize Port 587. I tried using the non-587 Emailer and my email went out. Now, forgetting the above, I sent an email thru the Verizon account using Emailer Port 587, and it went out. So evidently Verizon now recognizes Port 587.
