Dear List, Question:
http://www.google.be/search?hl=nl&q=spotlight+search+server+volumes+netware &btnG=Zoeken&meta= Spotlight cannot search AFP server volumes. Is there any way that I could get the OLD Mac OS FIND command back to search on any mounted volumes ? Or the Sherlock version ? Spotlight is the kind of software that pretends to know better what the customer wants than the customer does. Marc http://www.google.be/search?hl=nl&q=spotlight+search+server+volumes+netware &btnG=Zoeken&meta= PS: Sorry if you hear very little about me. I am almost a full time nurse at the moment. Will get back and will keep using and promoting an email-application that excludes HTML capabilities within the "body" of email messages. Because as soon as it is in there, users will always chose for ease of use, and switch HTML on. And intruders will always of a nice crispy message or a poll or a game or whatever attraction that rewards users if they switch it on. Claris Emailer is worth its weight in pure gold. HTML should, according to me only be allowed in an attachment, and an email app should never allow the user to automatically open an attachment. This is the main cause for spreading of spam, viruses, and kind invitations to be hacked. The other main cause is browser related. (end of sermon) :-) I wish you all the best. --- Just Marc _,,,'^-_-^',,,_ [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
