What a joy to again see the emailer digest in my mail box.
I am so grateful to all who, over many years, have made such valuable
contributions to this list, ESPECIALLY TO CHRIS.
I still use emailer in a way.
Having moved to Leopard, not being able to use classic and emailer,
was almost a reason not to upgrade. However use the mail application
in Leopard, but leave messages on the server. On an older machine,
using OS 9, have emailer set to remove from server. Any email that
looks suspicious, I check with emailer before opening or discarding.
May sound complicated and over cautious, but am amazed at how many of
my friends who use windows ask if they can forward a suspicious email
for me to check.
To all on the list, and the few of us old enough (or young enough in
body and/or heart) to remember it, thank you.
