I tried many of the clients you listed, a while ago, and found Thunderbird to be the most Emailer-like after a small amount of configuration. Being open-source with many extensions, and available cross-platform, it beats the non-Mozilla competition as far as I'm concerned. I'm not sure why anyone would pay a hefty sum of money (€49 !) for something that is proprietary (i.e. can be EOL-ed at any moment - deja-vu anyone?) lacks extensibility and isn't cross-platform.
