I know that this isn't Mail or Emailer but thought I would solicit suggestions from this group to see if they could offer him any help. He's using Windows for the most part, but with Firebird as his browser. He's just getting tired of losing graphics when he tries to send via Thunderbird, and I know that he's tried to figure out what's going on. He's an engineer and a bright guy.
His message is appended - Thanks - Charles

I really like the Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail
client software I have been using for the past
couple of years. However, it has a REALLY BIG
FEATURE FLAW; it vaporizes the embedded graphics
content contained in roughly 70% of all incoming
posts when I try to forward them. I see the attached
or embedded graphics, but they are dropped from
the forwarded post when I click the SEND button.
-- POOF! Gone!--The recipients get the posts, but
sans the graphics.

Seeing as how Thunderbird has undergone several
upgrades over the past year or two and this bug
has not been fixed, maybe it is time for me to
try out a different e-mail client software.

At my U of F office, we had no choice but to use
Microsoft products which I did NOT like because
(for what I needed) they were not very user friendly.
Besides, I try to avoid Microsoft (where I can) just
on general principles.

Sooooo-- on my personal desktop, I tried Mozilla
Thunderbird, liked it, and found it to be much more
user friendly, even if it did not have as many
features as the Microsoft product.

However, it has this major flaw of vaporizing
attached or embedded graphics in about 70% of
all incoming posts that I try to forward.

My question-- what other e-mail client software
have list members found to their liking? I hear
good things about Pegasus-- Will I have problems
getting my address book installed over on it?

Is Pegasus compatible with the Mozilla FireFox
browser I use?
I solicit your comments and feedback!!
