Apple killed off all of Claris with two exceptions.

So I did all my important content work on AppleWorks, on my system 9
iMac, and now on my OSX Mac Book I can't even open those AppleWorks
documents: help!
The best I've been able to come up with is to
=keep my old iMac on my desk (I'd rather have the space)
=open an AppleWorks doc on the iMac, cut and paste into a webmail
email and mail it to myself
=open that on the MacBook
Which is fine for one doc at a time, but isn't there any way to batch-
convert all the old AppleWorks 5 files into something I can port over
to the OSX laptop in a form that will open?
Just another example of leaving the user in the lurch!
