Hi, Wow, well I set up an AOL account on this "eMailer" Mac with OS10.3.9 copying the settings from my Mac with 10.5.8 and "Boom" AOL from forever back downloaded onto this Mac. I didn't think that 10.3.9 would download AOL. Did AOL change? Because the "HELP" in 10.3.9 says it won't download. It would have been nice to know this sometime ago.
Now I have to bite the bullet and see if I can get my filed email over from eMailer. I will be so sad to leave, but I get lots of plant photos as attachments and other misc docs, newsletters, etc since so many orgs are now going "paperless" which is a good thing. I just can't be logging into AOL all the time to retrieve that stuff. I can't tell if the file structure will be preserved. Does anyone know? Also, does anyone know if I can judge how much space will be taken up? Will the attachment locations be preserved. They are mostly in the CE downloads folder. Will that be moved over? I know my database is 515 MB and my downloads folder is about 550 MB. Thanks for any help.
