Anyone know what's going on?

It doesn't like the email address you are sending FROM.

I use optonline as my ISP but these accounts are not optonline email
addresses.

OptOnline has some oddly restrictive email controls. I haven't used them in a long time for sending emails, but I have a vague recollection they may reject emails not sent from an optonline email address (although I could be wrong in that memory, but it does fit with what you are seeing)

OptOnline also blocks access to any other mail server on port 25. You can bypass their restrictions on using other mail servers if you use port 587 to connect to the other mail server.
