Howdy to all of the CE diehards, including Chris, who saved my CE

a time. Getting a CE email brings back fond memories. I've used
Entourage
for the last couple of years or so, and last year I moved up to OS
10.5, and
will move on to OS 10.6 this fall, so I'm afraid my Classic OS and
CE days
are long gone.
The one feature of Entourage that I have grown to appreciate is
that since
my email account resides on a server at my college, I can see the same
messages and folders from both home and office. That's very
handy. Even
so, I remember fondly the sophistication and reliability of CE.
I'm sorry
that circumstances conspired to force me to leave it behind. Such
is life.

Bob's post brings to mind my own situation. I, too, have been on this
mail list for a number of years. I used CE from shortly after v2.0's
release until mid January this year.
I was forced to go to Apple Mail when I ran into problems sending
mail through servers which required authentication along with plans
to upgrade to OS 10.5.
So...like Bob, it's time to move on.
Thanks to Chris and others on this list for helping me out several
times.
