Great to see some activity on this list.
Having moved on from Emailer, I still miss it, nostalgia or the ease
of use, not sure which one I miss the most.
The list had some wonderful discussions and really helpful hints about
many things relating to computing. I am most grateful to all who
contributed and still appreciate it when someone posts a message or a
question.

With sadness, I gave up on Emailer ages ago, and moved to
MSEntourage in the
MSOffice suite 2008. I have a decently newish iMac at work, and if
Apple
announces new iMacs tomorrow (!), I will be ordering a new iMac for
home, to
replace my 8-year-old G5, running 10.5. A leap from 10.5 to 10.8!
I will
also update MSOffice, which means moving from MSEntourage to
MSOutlook.
These MS products make use of a server on my campus, and I must say
it's
very nifty to be able to see the same email folders and files from
both home
and office.
As the years have gone by, my once beefy G5 has gotten slower and
slower,
especially when web browsing, etc. I'm looking forward to having
more speed
and power with a contemporary Mac. Emailer was fabulous in its day,
and
Entourage has its quirks, but I am resigned to marching off into the
future.

Everything I need works in 10.4, and I occasionally switch to
10.5. Thank goodness for my old page-layout app ReadySetGo
which has been rewritten for OSX but also opens its pre-OSX
files. Other than that, my main apps are Graphic Converter
and Tex-Edit Plus. My web browser is FireFox, along with the
TenFourFox knockoff which is being kept up-to-date by
volunteers.
I let my sub to MacLife run out because there isn't anything in
it now that pertains to my setup. I still get MacWorld in order
to know what Apple is doing, but nothing there relates for me
either.
I could buy a new Mac if somebody would write an app for
Classic. So Apple loses my money.
