Dear Friends,

In case we have forgotten, with an old listserve such as this one, orginally
each one of us manually subscribed him/herself, and each one of us has the
capability to manually unsubscribe him/herself.  The instructions for
unsubscribing were included in my earlier email.  I will copy and paste that
again here for convenience:

Once upon a time a human being managed the list, and I have attempted to
track that person down.  I'll let you know if I discover whether he still
exists and whether he still has any control over the operation of this
listserve.
