Although I have had to convert to Apple mail, it does not do the cool stuff
that emailer did. The main reason I converted is that Apple mail finally
allowed me to create an account for my AOL mail, download it and read it off
line which I don't think it didi the early non-classic OS's versions of Mail.

I still feel like a novice with all the new operating systems. I am still on
Snow Leopard and have no idea when I will upgrade. There is just too much
stuff to relearn all the time and I am tired of perfectly friendly and useful
programs becoming obsolete. They either write new operating systems which are
not compatible with perfectly useful program, for example Quicken, on which I
print all my checks. I had to purchase a new machine several years ago when
Turbo Tax required the latest Mac OS. That was the beginning of the end of
emailer for me. I still downloaded all my AOL mail on my old machine.
