Soroush, If you are using internal transports, which is the recommended way to configure the emulator, you only need to consider the OTA and event multicast interfaces. It is possible to oversubscribe the channels and lose packets under very high load, but this is not something we see in practice.
By analysing your scenario in terms of offered load you should be able to determine if your OTA interface (e.g. 1Ge, 10Ge) is sufficient. Physical layer statistics can give you counts of the total number of transmitted and received packets. -- Steven Galgano Adjacent Link LLC www.adjacentlink.com On 08/31/2015 12:45 PM, [REDACTED] wrote: > Hello, > > Do you consider udp packets drop between socket buffer and mac in emane? > if this is case how would I check that drop? > > Thanks, > Soroush > > > _______________________________________________ > emane-users mailing list > [email protected] > http://pf.itd.nrl.navy.mil/mailman/listinfo/emane-users > _______________________________________________ emane-users mailing list [email protected] http://pf.itd.nrl.navy.mil/mailman/listinfo/emane-users
