If you are using internal transports, which is the recommended way to
configure the emulator, you only need to consider the OTA and event
multicast interfaces. It is possible to oversubscribe the channels and
lose packets under very high load, but this is not something we see in
practice.

By analysing your scenario in terms of offered load you should be able
to determine if your OTA interface (e.g. 1Ge, 10Ge) is sufficient.

Physical layer statistics can give you counts of the total number of
transmitted and received packets.
