Dan, Yes, it is possible. The CommEffect model supports setting link characteristics between pairs of nodes using CommEffect events analogous to the way radio models set pathloss between pairs of nodes.
CommEffect link characteristics include loss, duplication, latency, jitter and bitrate. You can generate CommEffect events using the EEL event generator or python emanesh.events module.
