Participate in refining SharePoint roadmap and play a key role in executing and delivering as per the roadmap Interact with business users in gathering their requirements for Sharepoint sites and delivering scalable & optimal solutions. Work closely with IT-Operations in designing and maintaining Sharepointinfrastructure as scalable and highly available service. Responsible for training Sharepoint users proactively research for SharePoint web parts to meet business requirements proactively assess patches and upgrades for value added to the business Responsible for setting up Workflow functionality as required by Business Responsible for assessing, analyzing and migrating various Doc control applications to SharePoint *Requirements:* 8+ years of technical experience including 4+ years Sharepoint experience. Experience in Sharepoint 2003 is required and Sharepoint 2007 is a plus. Extensive experience in designing, implementing, developing and customizing Sharepoint sites. Proven skills with IIS, Windows OS, ASP and .Net framework and supporting infrastructure components is required. Experience in Visual Studio and Visual Studio Tools for Office is required Experience with SQL Server 2005 is required Experience with design patterns and development tools (such as NUnit, Visual Studio 2005 Team System, etc) is a plus Extensive experience in the design, packaging, delivery and support of web technologies Implementation of SharePoint web parts is required. Experience in developing web parts is a plus Strong understanding of workflow and Windows Workflow Foundation. Experience in collaborative technologies such as Infopath Forms Services and Excel services is required Experience in designing the SharePoint architecture for scalability and performance Self-starter who requires minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
