Uninterrupted DNS Service migration from one facility to another is one key to successful application migration. The *Sr. DNS Analyst* will provide technical leadership to a team of peers in the evaluation of DNS appliance technology and provide a written recommendation as to the deployment of the technology to aid the service migration. Additional responsibilities will include documenting successful integration into the current Client's DNS Architecture, identifying migration strategies to *reduce the number of DNS/IP address management tools*, and successful deployment of the *DNS Service* at the *new Data Center location.* *Qualification:* - Minimum *5 years* experience in *Data Networking and DNS Technologies* - Experience with *execution, installation, and support of DNS Service* to assure quality system changes - Experience with *Unix/Linus shell scripting, K-shell, AWK, PERL, as well as BIND and Men and Mice software would be a plus* - *bind experience (*mgmt tools, building bind packages, Unix OS, managing Zone files and transfers, DNS delegation) - *Active Directory experience* (windows DNS on AD, interfacing to Bind, mgmt tools, DHCP, SRV records) - *IP address mgmt skills* (mgmt tools, managing enterprise IPv4 address space, EasyIP, IPv6 mgmt a plus) - *Some knowledge of DNS Appliances* (particularly Infobox or other DNS appliances) - excellent written and verbal comm skills -- *Regards,* Vijay Kumar.Majji Makro Technologies, P:973.481.0100 ext 3095.
