Required Skills 1) Act as the IT owner to provide
advanced technical expertise in the installation, testing, maintenance and
training of SAP initiatives for Finance, Procurement, Supplier Management
and Manufacturing.
2) Fully engage in all aspects of project development from the definition to
delivery. Lead and participate in projects to enhance the quality and
efficiency of IT support.
3) Analyze and translate business requirements into SAP system deliverables
including design, configuration and testing. Partner with business users
to proactively anticipate customer needs with a commitment to service
excellence.
4) Design processes and define technical solutions to support migration from
legacy system to SAP solutions.
5) Acquire the knowledge needed in the implementation of new applications,
stay current with industry standards, usability and best practices. Continue
to maintain and expand knowledge of relevant product offerings, current
support policies and methods of support delivery on company systems,
software or hardware.
6) Provide support to business process owners, project organization and
management as requested. Act as a mentor or lead, when designated, to
provide guidance and training to less experienced support specialists. Provide
on-call support as required.
7) Coordinate EDS resources to define integration strategy and develop
bi-directional interfaces between legacy system(s) and SAP.
8) Demonstrate a commitment to total quality and continuous improvement in
support of customer, departmental and corporate objectives.
9) Demonstrates effective time management skills in managing multiple
projects.
10) Travel up to 25%
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Computer Engineering, Supply Chain Management
or related field
• At least five years experience IT
• Advanced technical proficiency in relevant operating systems, applications
and languages
• Proven excellent customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proven track record implementing SAP ECC 5.0 or higher including hands on
experience with GL/AP/AR
Good to have: • Previous experience in
Finance Controlling function
• Proven track record implementing SAP ECC 6.0 or higher
Knowledge: Must be strong in FICO and
have knowledge to MM and PP areas. This is more a project manger role and
hence there is a need to underdstand SAP Lifecycle. Must have a blend of
business and IT with overall of 5-10 years of experience.
