The senior consultant monitoring analyst will: • Work with client teams to gather requirements for monitors • Write and maintain supporting documentation for deployed and requested monitors • Design and deploy monitors to Test • Manage the implementation of the monitors from planning through to testing and deployment • Manage the change control process for monitoring • Work with the Lead Systems Administrator to plan and schedule work Tools/Technologies: - Required: Configuration and deployment of monitoring policies using a framework product such as BMC Patrol or HP OpenView; - Required: Aggregation of events from various monitoring products into a consolidated event stream using a Manager of Managers product; - Required: Development of end-to-end application monitoring, correlating events from multiple sources; - Required Experience engaging internal clients to identify and track monitoring requirements; - Desired; Familiarity with application development technologies such as Weblogic, Java and Oracle.
