Responsibilities/Requirements:


OVERVIEW


The Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for installing and
administering the Oracle database and potentially performing the physical
implementation of the data model. The DBA will continuously monitor the use
of the database to identify opportunities for performance improvements.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for installing and administering the Oracle database and
potentially performing the physical implementation of the data model. The

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Configures the database software for the target databases in the various
environments
- Implements the physical data model in the various environments
- Designs and implements the backup and recovery processes
- Tunes the physical model and the configuration of the database to better
respond to the demands of the solution
- Monitors database fragmentation, growth, and performance
- Defines naming standards for all components of the physical data model
- Designs and implements the security model within the database management
system
- Designs the physical data model based on the logical data model provided
by the data architect
- Estimates the data volumes and growth for each component of the data model


SKILLS :


- Minimum 5 years of experience administering Oracle databases in either
transactional or analytical application environments
- Minimum two years of experience administering databases deployed on the
selected client database management system; DBA rating in the selected DBMS
is preferred
- Experience working in the underlying operating systems on which the
databases are deployed (UNIX, NT)
- Experience designing and implementing physical data models
- Experience programming with SQL and other languages

REQUIRED Skills:


Oracle Enterprise 10g, 11g (including RAC, DataGuard and Oracle Enterprise
Manager RMAN),Oracle Database Administration, performance tuning, logical
and physical design, stored procedures for the above  UNIX (AIX)

Pluses: UNIX - HP-UX, Linux, Windows



*Requirement 2:*

*Senior Network (LAN/WAN) Engineer***

This position will plan, implement and support various companys? computer
networks and telecommunication systems. Position oversees maintenance and
operations of network servers, routers and switches as well as maintenance
and operations of telecommunications systems.

Provide ongoing support to existing systems for general maintenance,
improvements/upgrades.

Candidate will forge strategic alliances with vendors where appropriate to
leverage new technologies and applications.

Candidate will seek out business improvement opportunities by identifying
wasteful and inefficient practices that are potential targets for
elimination, automation or improvement through other means.

Candidate must respond to support issues, ensuring timely resolution of
end-user needs or re-directing issues to appropriate specialist and
performing appropriate follow-up.
Specifically, this resource will be required to have experience in setting
up, administrating, and managing very large industrial, network
configurations (i.e., large number of servers and environments as well as
large number of telecommunications equipment ? e.g., switches, routers, load
balancers, etc.).
Candidate must be experienced in designing and administering large
standardized network configuration and following ITIL standard
administration processes.

They will research, evaluate, and recommend new hardware and software to
support an expanding enterprise network infrastructure and be responsible
for server hardware and system capacity planning.
Candidate must be willing to travel to client site and must have ability to
work in both United States and Canada.

*Required Experience: *

Minimum of 4 years of professional experience managing Cisco networks.
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
Minimum of 8 years of IT-related experience.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Excellent knowledge of Cisco, HP and Nortel Networks Switching and Routing
Equipment and Operating Systems.
Expert knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite, particularly DNS and routing.

Expert knowledge of MPLS networks.
Expert knowledge in developing metro / campus wide network configurations ?
specifically with Metro Edge Devices / Diverse Path DWDM
Expert knowledge of wireless (e.g., EVDO) and satellite backup networks
Expert knowledge of wireless networking for warehouse and distribution
networks (e.g., Motorola MC9090 wireless devices, Talkman T2, Symbol Truck
mounted and Handheld Devices)
Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and analysis.

Education:

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred.
Advanced degree a plus.



*Requirement 3:*

*Senior Windows Systems Administrator***

Description: We seek a Senior Windows System Administrator highly skilled in
Microsoft Windows who would be responsible for Operating System
administration, configuration, and system level application support, network
and server monitoring and performance tuning of Operating System, hardware,
and applications.

Candidate will serve as the Windows Server specialist in an Operations
Architecture definition and implementation project. Candidate should have
in-depth skills in this area.

Candidate should also be experienced in IBM SAN configurations.

Will Forecast and proactively recommend strategic hardware and software
upgrades or replacements when service statistics indicate upcoming
unsatisfactory performance levels.

Specifically, this resource will be required to have experience in setting
up, administrating, and managing very large industrial, Windows
configurations (i.e., large number of servers and environments as well as
multi-process Windows servers, VMWare, and Citrix).

Candidate must be experienced in designing and administering large numbers
of standardized Windows configuration and following ITIL standard
administration processes.

Setup user logins, password, account information, and security for the
servers.

Also responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting system backups.


Design systems and network configurations for optimum performance along with
troubleshooting and problem resolutions.

Document and maintain hardware, software and network standards. Windows
Architecture Design, implementation and support.
Direct tasking of junior system administrators. Work directly with staff
members and project managers.
Communicate with clients and conduct weekly status meetings
Requirements: MUST possess the following experience:


Minimum of 5+ years of business experience
* 5+ years as a Windows System Administrator with strong knowledge of
Microsoft Windows, VMWare, and Citrix.
* IBM SAN products
* Strong SAN administration and implementation experience
* MCSE or MCSA Certification
* Operating System administration, configuration, and system level
application support
* network and server monitoring
* performance tuning of Operating System, hardware, and applications
* Understanding of TCP/IP and network services such as DNS and DHCP
* Server hardware setup, configuration, and support
* Experience with Active Directory, Exchange servers and Blackberry server
* Experience with Windows web services and IIS
* Citrix or Terminal Services application mode exp.

* Experience with high availability such as Microsoft

Demonstrated expertise in the following areas:
Storage Area Network (SAN) Administrator
Storage Virtual Controller (SVC) experience
UNIX (AIX, HP-UX, Solaris). Current experience with most recent versions of
AIX (IBM PSeries - AIX Power5 (P5) and Power6 (P6) systems) is a must. HP-UX
is very helpful.
Must have solid experience with HA/clustering and partitioning as well as
SAN's (IBM DS4800 and DS8300 SAN hardware and IBM Storage Manager Software).
IBM TotalStorage Productivity Center (TPC)
AIX virtualization
Must have solid experience with HACMP and any / all scripting associated
with HACMP.
SAN setup and configuration for various software products and DBMS products
including Oracle, SQLServer, Informix, DB2, etc.)
Hardware and software installation and support.
Third Party software consisting of Veritas Foundation Suite, Veritas
NetBackup, Legato Networker, EMC and HP tool sets.
