Position: Tester Location: Mechanicsburg, PA Duration: 12- 18 Months Description: Primary responsibility will be the execution of Test Cases, evaluation, and reporting of results. The candidate needs to have good analytical skills to raise defects with appropriate details when test cases fail or results do not match. The candidate will work closely with other test team members, configuration, and development teams on problem resolution. Provide additional information, as requested by the development team, when required for defect analysis/fixing. Must have experience on large, complex application development projects. Ability to maintain and execute manual or automated test cases using Rational tools. Skills: Testing/Test methodology exposure (especially Component Integration Testing, System Testing, regression, and exposure to stress / load / performance) Create test scenarios and test cases based on established system specifications Ability to execute test cases, analyze and report results to Test Lead and Manager Rational Testing Tools knowledge (Rational ClearQuest Test Manager, ClearCase and Rational Manual Tester) Experience using ClearQuest Tools for logging defects Strong Communication and documentation skills (Oral and Written) Thorough/detail oriented Flexible - accommodate schedule changes, tasks changes Service Oriented Architecture knowledge Develop necessary test data for execution of test cases (nice to have) Knowledge of Oracle SQL Developer and ability to query the database to validate results (nice to have) Thanks and Regards!
