Title: Oracle DBA Location: Cleveland, OH Duration: 6 Months ** ** *MAIN SKILLS : Oracle 10G DBA with Unix, Oracle 10GAS, Oracle Installations/Upgrades/Patches, Oracle Backup/Recovery, Performance Tuning* *Skills Required:* - Minimum 8+ years Oracle DBA experience in a UNIX environment supporting Development and Production applications. - Experience in Installing, upgrading, configuring, monitoring & tuning Oracle server software & related products, backup & recovery policies & procedures, database design & implementation, database security implementation & maintenance (creating & maintaining users, roles, & privileges), database tuning & performance monitoring, application tuning & performance monitoring. - Backups procedures maintaining Redo logs and day to day administration. - Experience with SQL tuning and supporting development team is required. *Must have: * Ø Provide Oracle DBA (DB and Application Server) technical support in a UNIX infrastructure. Ø Implement Oracle software installations, upgrades, and patches. Ø Build database instances and objects. Ø Implement Oracle backup and recovery. Ø Monitor and tune Oracle database for optimum performance. Ø Assist in capacity planning of Oracle database servers. Ø Troubleshoot Oracle infrastructure problems. Ø Provide technical assistance and guidance to application support staff and project teams. Ø Develop, document, and implement operational support procedures for the Oracle infrastructure components.
