. Experience with DataStage v8.0.x. . Worked with DataStage Parallel Extender, preferably in DataStage v8.0.x . Worked in DataStage for 2-3 years and in Data Warehousing for at least 4 years . Understands and applies ETL Best practices in previous projects. . DataStage experience should include all aspects of ETL, including work of high complexity and including both development and design work . Must be competent developing applications in UNIX environment and in writing KornShell (KSH) scripts . Experience working on IBM DB2 and SQL Server databases; Sybase IQ experience a plus . Knowledge of Modeling tools - Sybase Power Designer preferred and Reporting tools - Business Objects preferred. . Excellent communication skills . Proven ability to mentor less experienced staff . Experience using DataStage v8.0.x complex file stage to process complex format source files from legacy mainframe systems. DESIRED . C++ and/or Visual Basic experience are nice-to-haves . Experience with administration of the DataStage tool is a nice-to-have 6 month contract (with possible extension) Location: Des Moines, IOWA.
