Experience with a large data environment is important as well as solid Oracle experience. Strong SQL Query skills. Cross functional experience, reporting to a PM or even leading a project is nice. 6 month contract and they say they are moving fast!! * Comfortable working in an informal working towards more formal software development department *Minimum 2-5 years experience* hands-on testing in database and client/server environments. This is not a lead position but must have the ability to take charge when needed. Experienced in testing data driven processes, data validation between databases, *end-end testing of data, and ETL data testing *§ 2 or more years working on Project Teams managed by project managers as well as self-managed high performing teams. Performs testing tasks with minimum oversight and direction, in coordination with test leads. 2 or more years managing small test projects a plus. § Proven ability to develop and maintain productive and positive relationships with business and technical staff Strong collaborative consulting communication skills. Experience working with internal customers to determine requirements in lieu of formal documentation – excellent customer facing skills § Strong initiative to seek out requirements and testing scope when little formal documentation is provided a must. Experienced with both *white and black box testing approaches*. Understands and can execute risk-based and other testing methodologies. § Expert *manual testing skills*. § Strong ability to estimate testing effort and communicate multiple testing options Able to write test strategies for smaller, less complex projects, or contribute to larger test strategy initiatives. Able to develop *test cases* involving Oracle database validation. Experience writing test cases with traceability reporting and statistics back to requirements. Ability to identify testing or requirement gaps or complications.
